My name is Dara, and as a high school student at Brentwood College School in BC, Canada, my family's battle with cancer has inspired me to make a meaningful impact in this field.

My father's resilience and love for golf have encouraged me to become a competitive golfer myself. For me, golf has always been more than just a sport; it's a language, a set of principles, and a way of navigating life. As I reflect on my journey, from swinging my pink golf clubs on the range to launching a cancer nonprofit, I realize just how deeply this game has influenced who I am.

I founded Swing4Hope to create a dedicated platform to unite golfers in support of cancer patients through fundraising and awareness campaigns. I have previously spoken on the TEDx stage, encouraging young people to draw life lessons from golf, and now I aspire to inspire more golf enthusiasts to join me in fundraising for cancer patients.

My vision is to merge my love for golf with my desire to support those affected by cancer, creating a powerful movement that brings hope and assistance to patients and their families. Together, we can make a significant impact on the world through the sport we love.
